One platform for members, training and partners

The Scaffolders Association is a not-for-profit that supports Nepali scaffolders working in Nepal and abroad. We designed and developed its digital platform, from the public website to the registration and portal routes for each group it serves.

The client

The Scaffolders Association was established in 2024. It is registered with the Government of Nepal and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, and describes itself as Nepal's first not-for-profit dedicated to scaffolders.

Its work covers skills training and certification, welfare and social protection, post-retirement support, policy advocacy and employment linkage. The site is explicit that the association is not a recruitment agency: its role is to improve safety, readiness and verification.

This Scaffolders Association website case study covers the platform at scaffoldersassociation.org.

What they needed

The association deals with very different audiences, and each one arrives with a different question. Based on what the platform does, it needed to:

  • Register five groups separately: Nepali members, credential applicants from any country, donors, vendors and employers.
  • Give each of those groups its own login, plus an admin login for staff.
  • Let employers request read-only credential checks, with the individual's consent, without the association acting as a recruiter.
  • Publish training information, a curriculum and a training calendar without presenting them as commercial courses.
  • Make the case to donors and partners for a planned welfare and training campus.
  • Show its legal registration, bylaws and governance documents in the open.

What we built

A large information site with a structured mega menu and a separate route for every audience, built on WordPress and Elementor.

Registration by audience

Separate registration pages for association membership, certification and credentials, donors, vendors and employers, each explaining its purpose and who it is for.

Portal logins

A Login menu with entries for the member, donor, vendor, employer and credential portals and for admins. Each portal page leads into the association's portal.

Training section

Course catalogue, curriculum levels, online learning materials, a training calendar, enrolment guidance and training FAQs.

Welfare campus case

Pages for the campus concept, curriculum, training grounds and hostel, implementation timeline, funding and sustainability plan, and donor recognition.

Safety resources

Guidelines and safety references, including a page on international scaffolding standards, alongside organisational documents and policy frameworks.

Media and chapters

Articles, notices, press releases and videos, plus pages for regional units and chapters and a homepage FAQ.

How we worked

Website projects follow the same five stages with us. Each one ends with something the client signs off before the next starts.

  1. Discovery

We agree who the site is for, which pages each audience needs and what content the client will supply.

  2. Design

Navigation and page structure come first. The visual design is applied once the structure is agreed.

  3. Build

Pages are built so the client's own team can edit content and publish updates without a developer.

  4. Launch

Forms, links and mobile layouts are checked before the site goes live on the client's domain.

  5. Handover

Admin access and editing guidance go to the client, so the site stays theirs to run.
