AI Ethical Use Policy

1. Our stand 

At Dignep Group, we build digital solutions for customers, we remain deeply skeptical of the broader gen AI uses. We believe technology should empower people, not replace human raw craftsmanship, use  huge  amounts of energy, or consolidate power (monopoly )  among a few tech monopolies.
This policy defines how we limit our internal use of AI to protect our internal design quality, our ethics, and our environment.

2. Why We less use AI 

We as team limit our use of generative AI because:

• Ethical Misalignment: Major AI corporations actively lobby against regulation and partner with military and mass-surveillance initiatives.
• Human Craftsmanship: Generative AI models are trained on the uncredited work of human creators. The output is often generic, error-prone, and lacks real intention.
• Long-Term Quality: Over-relying on AI for complex architecture leads to bloated code, technical and a loss of critical thinking among developers.

3. Where We Draw the Line (Unacceptable Use)

To maintain our standards, we strictly ban AI in the following areas:

• Creative Work: Strategy, design, copywriting, and branding must always be crafted by humans. We mandate turning off AI-training features (like Figma Make) on all design platforms.
• Core Software Architecture: Critical features and complex application logic must be manually coded. Efficiency never justifies glitchy, unmaintainable, or insecure code.

4. Where AI Makes Sense (Acceptable Use)

We only use AI when it does not compromise quality, steal creative labor, or needlessly burn energy. The approved use cases are strictly limited to:

• Assisted Coding (Seniors Only): Senior and mid-level developers may use AI to generate repetitive, low-stakes code, but must manually review every single line before it reaches production.
• Manual Coding for Juniors: Junior developers must write all code from scratch. Wrestling with complex logic is essential for mastering software engineering.
• Administrative Tasks: Team members can use AI to automate data-entry works  like reformatting large spreadsheets where human nuance adds zero value.
• Background Research: AI can be used as a search tool to quickly sift through vast public datasets. However, all sources must be manually verified, and AI-generated text cannot be copy-pasted into our final deliverables reports.

5. What Might Change Our Minds

This policy is a living document. We aren’t permanently closing the use on AI, but we are waiting for the industry to mature.

6. Enforcement

Everyone working with Dignep employees must follow these. Using company funds for boycotted AI subscriptions, passing off AI generation as original creative work, or using AI for core software architecture will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
