Kathmandu, May 23, 2025 — In a significant step toward bridging academia and industry, the Department of Artificial Intelligence under the School of Engineering at Kathmandu University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dignep Group Pvt. Ltd. This collaboration aims to foster innovation, enhance student skills, and promote research in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

Kathmandu University (KU) is making significant strides in artificial intelligence (AI) research and innovation, thanks in large part to its advanced GPU cluster resources. These high-performance computing (HPC) facilities are now being shared with partners like Dignep Group Pvt. Ltd. to accelerate the development of practical AI solutions for Nepal.
